    Hello, European squids!
Those pesky Americans always host their regular tournaments too late for us to enter. But don't worry! I've finally filled the gap and organised a weekly European tournament, Seascraper, every Tuesday at 7 PM UTC! (8 PM CET/ 9 PM EET).

The tournament has a focus on strict time limits per round, to make sure people finish quickly enough for the next day. This means the tournament shouldn't last much more than 2 hours in total; teams that don't reach finals will obviously finish before this time.

There's also a pickups channel to form temporary teams for the tournament, if your normal teammates are busy on that day. Alternatively, you can join the staffing team as a translator/TO to help promote this tourney towards all European players. Everyone can be involved!

The tournament format is double elimination Best of 5 sets (Best of 3 in losers' bracket), or if more than 8 teams sign up, single elimination with Best of 5 sets (Best of 3 for first round).

If you're interested, be sure to check out our Discord server at https://discord.gg/uawRXjY !

The full ruleset can befound here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1OmddHviga1geZ16sq4MtURFCYTMzL72ic6ULMpCfrgk/edit?usp=sharing

Why is it called Seascraper? Because Europe is well known for its skyscrapers (right...?), and it's Splatoon, so there has to be some kind of link to squidlife.
I couldn't think of any other name.

    See you there!
