i just read from some reddit post that the experience and money gain from match end results was different from splatoon 1 to splatoon 2. Having never played the first one is this true?
The Reddit post centered around matchmaking but touched upon the splatoon 1 gear and level exp/money payout being more fair to the players who did exceedingly well on their team despite being on the losing team.
It does seem like a kick in the face to do so well on the losing team (often the same stats as if you’d won) only to be thrown pennies and the smallest sliver of gear/level exp because despite your valiant and statistically obvious efforts there was nothing you could have done to secure your victory because, ya know... teammates.
Does it all seem fair to everyone?
