Sup my yung squidlords!
It's a little late since most of us kind of know each other, but I'll start us off with an introduction post! My lame-o real life name is Samantha. Please call me Sam. Nobody's called me Samantha since the last time I put my brother in a choke hold and my mom got pissed. And that was like... a few years ago or something. lol
I am your average 20something. Crippling debt, low self esteem, cynical view of the state of the world, the whole shebang.
I attended Way-Too-Dang-Huge High School in good ole East Tennessee. I've moved nearly 30 times in my 22 years. Not military, just a ****ty stepdad who couldn't keep a job. I have been to nearly every state and the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, but I haven't left the country otherwise. I've even driven across the country! (10/10 would recommend as long as you like corn fields and potato museums)
I went to ETSU for about 2 years, and then realized I wasn't ready for college so I took some time off. Trying to go back sometime in the next year or so, hopefully to finish the art degree I started and get a second degree in European History (ancient Greece and Rome, yo).
I'm an artist and a writer. I'm working on a graphic novel trilogy called The Midnight Special. I think if you scroll up in the discord you can see where I gushed about it to Eric and Tony for like eight years. But you're welcome to just ask me about it. I'm happy to gush about it again. lol
I like animated movies and folk music and animated music videos for folk music. When I'm not playing Splatoon with you guys, I play Dungeons and Dragons, Sm4sh, Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Assassin's Creed, and like... some other stuff. I'm low key working towards breaking the world speed run record for beating Banjo-Kazooie 100%. I also took choir for my full 12 years of grade school, so sometimes, when the moon is full and the stars align, and the petals of a lotus flower fall gracefully onto the back of a pond turtle and are carried into the water backwards, you can sometimes hear what might be me singing on the blowing wind as it passes by.
I'm engaged to be married to a rad dude named Tyler. He's literally the peas to my taters.
Uhhh.... here's a picture of me with my postcard wall I guess?
lolkbye
