Messtival! is back!
The second edition of Messtival wil kick off on Saturday 7 November, at 6 PM CET / 12 PM EST / 9 AM PST. Check in will start an hour before that, so 5 PM CET / 11 AM EST / 8 AM PST.
Messtival! 2 is a 1 day event. This is the time table for the rounds:
Round 1: 6:00 PM - 6:50 PM
Round 2: 6:50 PM - 7:40 PM
Round 3: 7:40 PM - 8:30 PM
R16: 8:45 PM - 9:30 PM
QF: 9:30 PM PM - 10:30 PM
SF: 10:30 PM - 11:30 PM
F & 3rd place: 11:30 PM
Note that all these times are in CET (Central European Time). EST is 6 hours behind, PST is 9 hours behind.

A maximum of 32 teams can sign up for Messtival! 2.
The tournament will start with a Round Robin group stage, which will lead to a top cut for a single elimination knockout stage.
16 to 23 entries (minimum) → Top 8 cut
24 to 31 entries → Top 12 cut
(this image is how the round of 12 would run with exactly 24 entrants and is therefor subject to change)
32 entries → Top 16 cut
All the matches in the group stage will be best of 5. The same applies for the round of 12 / round of 16.
The quarter finals, semi finals, finals and match for 3rd place will all be best of 7.

A team is allowed to make 2 substitutions in a match. This does not include the substitution for a player that had a disconnect. That player may be substituted regardless.
In between matches every team is free to substitute as much as they would like, as long as the starting 4 players are registered to the tournament as a part of that team. This rule still applies if your team ends up with a player short for any reason. You will either have to go in 3v4, or forfeit. While this sounds harsh, it’s the only way to ensure that the substitute rule will not be exploited.
