A few things are quite different from previous Messtival! tournaments, so don't skip the spoilers below!

Messtival! 3 will be ran in a Double Elimination bracket and will have a maximum of 32 entrants

To register, we ask you to fill out this sign up form.

We no longer ask for all the NNID's of your team. We only ask the NNID of the person (captain) that will add your opponents during the tournament .

Introducing a new tournament platform!

Spoiler: Introducing Battlefy

This tournament will not use Challonge. Instead, we are using Battlefy. Only one of your team has to register on Battlefy. All you need for that is a valid email address.

Spoiler: Maps & modes

The maplist will follow the usual Halo style rotation, with the exception that we will use a format for the deciding games as previously used by

S & F.


In every BO5 match, the 4th game (if needed) will be picked by the team that is not in the lead. The 5th game (if needed) will be picked by the other team. In a BO7 game the same rules apply to game 6 & 7.


A team may never pick a map-mode combination that they have won on in the current match.

In addition to discord, Battlefy offers a chat log with each game you'll play. This will make it a lot easier to find your next opponent and communicate with each other.

The rules can also be found on the opening page of Battlefy for easy access during the tournament.

Just double elimination this time, to change it up a bit. But the group stages might return in nr. 4, who knows :)

Squiddos and kiddos, Messtival! 3 has reached it's cap. Any more sign ups will be placed on the reserve list.

An updated team sheet will be available soon. The bracket will also be seeded today, but keep in mind that it could still change depending on no shows.
