New Weapons On The Way (+New Maps)

Nintendo uploaded a video on their youtube channel to show off 1 new Maps (Manta Maria), and new SalmonRun Map (Lost Outpost) and a new/old weapon (Forge Splattershot Pro).

Huh. They seem to be recycling the old code from splatoon 1 to bring the new weapons. Nearly all weapons added in updates were in splatoon !, so we can probably predict what they're going to bring.

Am I the only one that thinks that inklings just can swim for whatever reason but can stand in rain, take showers and drink water? And when an Inkling falls into too deep water they just pop to death to save them from drawning?
