Nintendo Treehouse Splatournament Discussion

Today's the day that the Nintendo Treehouse is doing their Splatournament. Since I haven't seen anyone make a thread for it yet I decided to do so.

This tourney's going to start at 11 AM PT/2 PM ET. Unfortunately, I won't be able to stick around for the whole thing since I've got work later on, but I'll be sure to catch it afterwards.

Here's the bracket from the Squid Research Lab:

And here are the teams participating:
Squid Jam (orange)
Splatterpunks (light blue)
Judd Dredd (green)
The Squidiots (blue)
Pain & Puffering (magenta)
Tentacle Difficulties (purple-red; not to be confused with the Squidboards group of the same name)

So, what teams are you rooting for? What do you think about the tourney structure? I'm personally eager to see who will come out on top and how the teams will tackle each mode.

All right, adding to the OP.

I'm still pretty undecided. It's kinda hard to pick favorites even with certain people in certain teams (e.g. Bill in Tentacle Difficulties). Screw it, I'm rooting for Squid Jam. I like the captain's attitude.

They've listed the names on the Tumblr, but I'm too caught up in the matches to dig them out.

Yep. They've gotten to the Semifinals SZ round!

Also, I take back what I said about their Tentacle Difficulties. They've won their first round, so they're still cool!

The funny part is that actually mention near the beginning that Turf War comes down to the last 30 seconds, so I guess it's not just the community that things so xD

I think they intentionally made it the loser bracket, I guess as I sort of penalty
