A tournament with only sniper-type weapons!

Check-in begins at 10:00 A.M. PDT and ends at 11:50 A.M. PDT and the tournament will begin at 12 P.M. PDT
No known price pool at the moment but this may change before the tournament (may possibly be team drawing again or money if we're lucky)

Maps will be posted at least a day before the tournament (unless the worst happens; hopefully we get them in early).

Here are the rules:
(DC= disconnection) Two host DCs will be allowed the entire tournament with only one allowed per round. DCs will not be replayed if the timer is below 4 minutes and/or the objective is below 70. Non-host player DCs past the 1 minute mark will not be replayed. Replays will not happen unless the team that did not DC, or if a player dc'd in time on both teams that both wish to replay. Stay at the spawn point as soon as you notice that someone has disconnected and hopefully the other team should knock the objective out so you can replay sooner, but if you are below the 4 minute mark or the objective is below 70 then you must play it out and there will be no replay (you can replay if you want here only if a TO gives you the okay because we want to make sure that sets are completed in time). Please take pictures when there's a DC and when you finish matches so we don't have disputes. This isn't required but it would help a lot when picking sides. If your opponent is too laggy to play against, you will have to show video evidence to the TOs to prove it, otherwise you can only depend on them not cheating their speed test to get them in trouble. Time restrictions: Bo3 25 min, Bo5 35 min, Bo7 45 min, Bo9 55 min

You may only pick weapons from the charger classes and there cannot be more than one weapon from any charger class, ex: Gootuber, Classic Squiffer, Firefin Splatterscope, and E-Liter 4K Scope. Quick respawn and quick super jump are no longer banned Legal weapons: E-Liter Class: E-Liter 4K/E-Liter 4K Scope; Custom E-Liter 4K/Custom E-Liter 4K Scope Splat Charger Class: Splat Charger/Splatterscope; Firefin Splat Charger/Firefin Splatterscope, Kensa Charger/Kensa Splatterscope Squiffer Class: Classic Squiffer, New Squiffer Gootuber Class: Gootuber, Custom Gootuber Bamboozler Class: Bamboozler MK I, Bamboozler MK II Hero Replica of the Splat Charger is legal but still counts as a splat charger not a separate class

The last few aren't as crucial to know about but it's for your information and I still suggest reading them anyway:

TOs are not allowed to report illegal weapons and dc rules if they are participating The host of the pb cannot be streaming and there will be no spectators unless there are casters for the tournament. 1st offense: warning and force replay possibly 2nd offense: dq The tournament will be only for Splatoon 2 until further notice If the host has less than 1 Mbps upload and less than 10 Mbps download it's suggested they do not stream and in fact use wired.

TOs may spectate your match if they suspect rulebreaking or rulebreaking is reported; we'll let you know if we'd like to join your pb as a spectator. Casters are still allowed to spectate but for this tournament it looks like we may have none. When rules are broken it is suggested that you: have screenshots/pics, and/or video evidence/streaming evidence, and report it right away. Pinging of mods/TOs is only allowed on tournament day; PLEASE ping a mod/TO if you suspect or notice rulebreaking because this needs to be disputed RIGHT AWAY

Rules subject to change upon release of new weapons
