Octolings.... Call for Mama?

Time for something that seems a bit.... morbid.

Whenever an Octoling gets splattered, I sometimes hear them yell "MAMA!" as the area around them is covered by ink.

Interesting discovery. I've always been very interested in trying to decipher the the squidy language, both written and spoken. People have heard other common words too.

the Octolings seem to speak or at least sound more english - the say "heya" when they are introduced or try to get near you. and i think sometimes they say "bye" or "cya" - id have to play again to check.
i have noticed they yell mama

They should totally add octolings ik I love them but I think your right they say like heya
