My name (well, online handle) is Joshawott - I'm an enthusiastic gamer and a freelance writer for a number of websites (StreetPass UK, WiiUAndMii etc).
I'm admittedly relatively new to the world of competitive gaming, with my only previous experience being the Pokémon franchise, which is largely single player, as opposed to a team game like Splatoon (Pokémon players here might recognise me as a Section Head of Bulbagarden Forums). However, my curiosity has been peaked with Splatoon; not only because I've loved the game since its E3 unveiling and me playing it at EGX, but because seeing places like Squidboards crop up before the game has launched has made me optimistic about the game's potential as a new competitive team game.
So yeah, it's a pleasure to meet you all and I look forward to splatting ink in your faces!
