Revitalizing Octo Valley?

Hi all! I still have yet to max out my single-player-only gear, and I feel compelled to. I also want something to do when the servers are down and I feel like running through Octo Valley for the third time. Any fan-made suggestions out there on how to self-implement a Hard Mode? Like a Nuzlocke for Splatoon?

If you want to spend the money, the Amiibo characters give you specific challenges in single player. For instance, doing some of the maps with a limited ink supply, or as a kraken with a time limit. And then you receive the 'hero' weapons upon completing the challenges.

Yeah I know. I've already done the amiibo challenges. I meant something more along the lines of a fan-made hard mode.

You can only use splat bombs, or do a "necessary kill only" run. Have fun.

I like to run the Squid Amiibo's level 11: Inkvisible Avenue challenge to an extreme. Only use at max half the ink they give you.

Before getting the Amiibo as a gift (thanks bro) I always loved to test myself with the limited ink challenge for level 11 which I heard was the hardest limited ink challenge. I soon found myself having made an over optimized route when I did get the Amiibo and ended up completing the stage will more than half of my ink supply left.

I always like doing speed runs or extreme limited ink challenges where you can only fire when absolutely essential (traveling through enemy ink doesn't count).

Thanks guys! Some pretty solid ideas here. I really like the idea of a speedrun or a necessary kill only run. I got very frustrated with the limited ink challenges with the amiibos, but then again, I did those in June...so I've probably gotten a lot better since then :P Well I hope so. Thanks for the suggestions! I'll try these out :)
