A CHECK IN WILL TAKE PLACE
2 hours before the event starts at 11am EST. At least one player from each team needs to check in during this time to confirm that their team will be playing.

Format
Single Elimination, BO5 rounds. BO7 for grand finals. Rainmaker only.

Map Selection
Maps will be determined through a combination of manual selection and random selection.

Sub Rules
Each team is allowed to sub 1 player between each game. If a player disconnects, they are allowed to sub 2, as per the disconnection rules below.

Communication
Communication will be done via Discord before the tournament and on the day.

Disconnection
If a player disconnects, each team is allowed one remake per round. Evidence must be provided.
In the event of a remake, teams are expected to have the same choice of weapons, but these are not locked to the players.
For example, X, the Eliter, disconnects and is replaced by Y. Z is better with chargers than Y, so Z takes over the Eliter role, and Y uses the weapon that Z was previously using.

Hosting
The 'lower' team on the Challonge bracket may choose who hosts.

Please keep Skatepark. Saltspray should be removed because it's inherently unbalanced, but Blackbelly doesn't have anything wrong with it, other than the fact that if your team gets wiped you lose immediately - which actually introduces a bit more strategy at the start of the match than the other maps, because your first death could ultimately decide the outcome of the game. People just hate on it because they don't know how to play it. It's like banning a stage in smash because it has a low ceiling which leads to faster kills. Everyone needs to stop crying about Blackbelly so much

Nevertheless, our team is likely to sign up for this, it's good to experiment at the very least.

There's no cap on teams but, being realistic, I would be surprised if we had more than 32 sign up. I've added a link to the OP, which you should be able to view if I've changed the sharing correctly, that shows the teams that have registered so far. Here it is again:

I found the blink and ink tournament and found it was unreliable this one seems really reliable I'll drop out of blink and ink to join this one BUT do i NEED a discord account
I'll sign up now anyways I mean I can drop out If I do need discord and then again I may get it anyway

Just because you're not as strong on salts pray or skatepark shouldn't mean you should ban that gives you an unfair advantage!!! Just go random it's fair that way ^^
