    Rules

    Format

    • 4v4 Double Elimination Bracket
    • Best of 3 sets prior to Winner's / Loser's / Grand Finals
    • Best of 5 Winner's / Loser's / Grand Finals
    • (Team from Loser's must win two sets in Grand Finals)

    Roster and Entry

    • Teams must consist of at least four members.
    • Teams are allowed up to 2 substitutes.
    • Teams are allowed to substitute players at any time between games.
    • Teams are not allowed to play matches with less than four players.
    • Players are not allowed to be listed for more than one team or use another player's account. Doing so will result in disqualification of both teams involved.
    • Teams/players are allowed to stream their own matches if they are not on the main tournament stream, but do so at their own risk of potential stream sniping.
    • Teams must check-in before bracket begins.

    Bracket Procedure

    • Tournament admins will call matches in #Captains-Chat in the Squidboards Discord server, starting with Round 1.
    • Captains have ten minutes to respond to the ping and begin their match.
    • Teams that fail to show for their match will be given game losses for every five minutes that pass after the initial ten minute window.
    • Subsequent matches will have Captain's pinged and their matches called when both teams have completed their prior match.
    • Captains must report their scores in #Report-Scores in the Squidboards Discord server immediately following a victory. Admins will ping Captains that fail to immediately report their scores.
    • Teams risk having their results voided and risk disqualification if they do not report their scores following a victory.

    Maps, Modes, and Weapons/Gear

    • All weapon and gear combinations are legal.
    • All maps and modes are legal.
    • Maps and modes for each round will be pre-determined by the tournament organizers. A map/mode list will be made available one week prior to the event start date. This list will be posted on the event page and in #Maps-and-Modes in the Squidboards Discord server.

    Lag, Disconnections, and Cheating

    • Teams are allowed one disconnection replay per tournament. A replay can be called if one of the following criteria is met:
    1. If neither team has gotten the objective to 50 or below within the first two minutes.
    2. If a DC occurs within the first minute.
    • If a disconnection occurs, the team impacted must stop play immediately.
    • If a replay is called for, the team asking for a replay must provide a screenshot showing that one of these points are met and that a replay actually did occur (noted by a black icon on the top of the screen).
    • Teams are allowed to request admin assistance if a player(s) is lagging to the point of detrimentally affecting tournament play, and that player will be forced to substitute out if the game cannot continue due to lag.
    • Players are not allowed to use cheats, intentional exploits, or third-party programs in tournament play. Doing so will result in immediate disqualification.
