Shared data over NNIDs?

I don't know if this issue has already been asked, but it's one i certainly want to know about; will Splatoon be a shared save file over the whole Wii U system,or separate files for each NNID?

Me and my little bro are both really looking forward to playing, but we both feel we want to experience the game in our own time, and so are both hoping for it to be separate for each of our NNIDs. My big fear is it'll be like Sm4sh's save file.

If anyone knows yet whether it's shared or not, we'd both really appreciate the help.

Yeah, it's already been asked and I believe it's saved to your hard drive. I'm not 100% sure but I'm pretty sure.
