So apparently the Japanese Splatoon twitter made mention of a made called "Mystery Zone" that will only be available during Splatfests. Just wanted to make mention of it.

"New information on festival has been found! In addition to 2 stages chosen by usual Nawabari battle, there is a case that a special stage called "mystery zone" is chosen only at festival time. It means that this mystery zone, a different form each time a festival is held."

It's English name is Twilight Zone. It's apparently going to be exclusive to splatfests, and it's going to similiar to the salmon run stages as it is slightly different every time

I would say that since Marina is an octoling, and the Twilight zone looks like one of the Octo Canyon/Valley levels with the screens for walls, maybe this is where Marina lived before escaping to inkopolis? She may still have access and keeps the kettle locked up to the other octarians to hold secret turf wars inside.. probably not
