Okay, I'm probably getting the time periods wrong, but 1980s vs 1940s. It'd be a strange pick, but the colors for it could be really interesting: The 1940s, where media is still in black and white, could have ink in varying shades of gray, while the 1980s, known for their bright colors, could have rainbow ink!
