...You know the worst that's been mentioned is that Inklings can't swim, right? Besides, splatting isn't as bad as dying, so it shouldn't be as mentally scarring.
Sorry for being nitpicky and deconstructing a joke comic; it just bothers me that so many people see "Inklings can't swim" and interpret that as "Inklings 'die' from water contact".

Calm down; I didn't in any way imply that you were an idiot. Your post didn't really give the impression of joking, though; just a response that looked like you were indeed under the impression that Inklings indeed melt by water. I don't see the joke anywhere...
