Sometimes I wish I got the regular New 3DS. Fire Emblem If, Xenoblade and Splatoon faceplates are all such taunts towards XL users. I would have saved money, too.

Did they have this in Japan? My brother can go get one since we live in Asia and he owns New 3DS. But seems that he's not interested. He likes Splatoon though, however he want save money to buy the Fire Emblem If face plates first.

I'm not sure sorry. I've only seen this on this website online so far. It's coming out July in Europe officially so looks like I'll have it before people in Ireland! :-D

Go ahead! I think New 3DS is really worth a purchase. But to me, I like the XL model because they have a red model in the U.S.

Maybe it's because they thought if New3DS XL has face plates, then everyone will go and buy the XL model rather the 3DS model, just my guess.
