I like this. Splatoon has a lot of memorable and unique things which are worth to be re-built in real life. There was this video of the guy who built an inkzooka. This was awesome, too.

The person who runs that channel says he makes it up as he goes a long so I imagine you could as well as long as you understood how you wanted the final thing to come out.
