This thread is basically for collecting data on gear abilities. How long they last, how much they stack, etc. I'll update it as time goes and with things I test and whoever else feels like helping out.

Special Duration Up (Kraken):
no boost: ~6.5s
main slot x1: ~6.75s
main slot x2: ~7.3s

Special Duration Up (Bubbler):
no boost: ~5.1s
Main Slot x1: ~5.6s
Main Slot x2: ~6.4s

Special Duration Up (Inkzooka):
no boost: ~6s
Main Slot x1: ~6.7s
Main Slot x2: ~7.4s

Run Speed Up does not affect roller speed.

Special Duration Up does not affect Killer Wail


If anyone has gear with sub skills please run tests as these will be the more difficult ones.

Considering I don't have the game to test for myself just yet. i'm curious on Quick Respawn. doesn't it stack? Thought even if it does getting one ought to be a staple for competitive play

One-time abilities, such as Haunt, Recon, Last-Ditch Effort, etc., can only be main abilities. They do not stack.

Ink Saver Main as a Main ability halves the ink consumed by the weapon, but I haven't tested this fully.

I did some research with Special Duration Up as a Sub ability.

Echolocator with no SDU - 13.00 s
Echolocator with 1 SDU - 13.39 s
Echolocator with 2 SDU - 13.71s

Ninja Squid - Is it complete invisibility whilst swimming?
Or does it just make it so enemy squid have to be closer to spot your trail?

Complete invisibility, save splashes when you drop from high up
