Squidboards Ranks?

I can't seem to find a document that explains how the ranking system on this website works. Of course ranks are completely trivial, but hey it looks pretty. Still, how exactly is rank determined? Post count? Likes received? Trophy Points? Something else?

EDIT: I didn't see that there was a Q/A thread until just now. Can we move this question there? This is super embarrassing because I spent twenty minutes looking for the right forum to put this in. I was reluctant to make this a full thread, but I couldn't find anywhere else.
