Welcome to this Squidboards Tournament Spotlight! We know all those squids and kids out there love splatting opponents on the battlefield and there are very few ways as fresh to do so as in a Splatoon tournament. This weekend two tournaments are taking place and some amazing teams are set to compete. Read on and get all the details!

    An Inkredible Tournament

An Inkredible Tournament is set to take place this Saturday the 30th and looks to be a smaller more intimate event, with only six teams currently signed up to compete. Team Infinity recently took 9th at SCL 10 where Blooper Ink also competed but was only able to bring home 17th. Other teams in attendance include Extermination, Inknators, C-, Turquoise Salt, and RoYality. More information on the event can be found in its Squidboards thread.

    S&F Random Restrictions

This tournament is rather unique compared to others. As described in its Squidboards thread: "This tournament features a set of restrictions, 4(?) of which are randomly selected at each round. These restrictions are to be taken into account when selecting your weapons/gear for that round. The restrictions are generated at the start of each round. In the event of contradicting restrictions, some will be rerolled."

These restrictions will require creativity in developing teams on the fly with things from weapon with a beacon must be chosen to no Echolocater for the entire team. Currently 16 teams are registered for the event, some of them well known names like CyberBullies, and Panda Global Warming. The full list of teams is available here.

The tournament is set to take place this Saturday the 30th. More information on the event can be found on its Squidboards thread.

Hopefully this catches up all those Squids and Kids behind on the tournament scene for the coming weekend! With so many challengers memories are sure to be made and the matches will be intense. Have a favorite team to win? Sound off in the comments and don't forget to stay fresh~
