Kinda Nuts
Hello again!
As the thread's title suggests, if things go according to plan, I will be starting a YouTube channel! I have a bunch of experience coaching in competitive Pokemon and have a bit less, but still a good amount in Splatoon 3 now, and I have previous work on a Pokemon YouTube channel as well as a borrowed capture card from a friend. All of the stuff needed to start a channel relating to Splatoon coaching!
I'm not the absolute best player out there, but I'd like to imagine I'm at least above average in the great big world of the Splatoon community. If nothing else I can help try to get people to about my level before they can move on and make their own inferences as they potentially grow to become even better than I am. Also, I don't really play anchors, but have at least some level of experience on every other basic weapon archetype in the game even if the specifics of some may trip me up.
However, I need somewhere to get started. I'm not just gonna pull peoples' games without their permission. That's where you guys come in. Whether you want me to give a genuine review for your gameplay or whether you're only doing this to help me out here, I'd appreciate if you were to send me a replay of yours! Just drop the code for it in the replies here.
I do have some preferences for the kind of game you share here, although none of this is super concrete. You do not HAVE to follow any or all of these rules, but they should be used to help you decide a replay you might want to send me if you're unsure. The only super firm rule I have is no Turf War because Turf War's matchmaking is not very good. Anyways, my preferences are as follows -

The only super firm rule I have is no Turf War because Turf War's matchmaking is not very good. Anyways, my preferences are as follows -
- You should be playing a weapon you're comfortable with in this replay. Do note that I don't play backlines and my advice might not be as good for those, plus some weapons with more specific strengths that next to no other weapon has like the Tenta Brella.
- I'd prefer if at least one of the following applies to you. Again, it's not necessary, but I may have less to say to someone who's closer to my skill level. One of the following three...
- Below S+ Rank
- Below an X Power of around 2300 or so
- If you play competitively, below a LUTI div of around 7 or so
- Ideally the game you send me lasts the full 5 minutes. The shorter the game is the less I'll have to say and the more I may have to comment on smaller mistakes that only happen once.
- Chances are we'll discuss what happens in your replay before I post anything so it'd help if you're able to remember your thought process during at least some parts of the game you send me.
- I'd prefer if the map is something that's at least sometimes played in a competitive setting for one or two of its map modes. This would include:
- Scorch Gorge (not Splat Zones, Zones layout is too different from the rest)
- Hagglefish Market
- Undertow Spillway
- Museum d'Alfonsino
- Mahi-Mahi Resort (Splat Zones only, Zones layout is too different from the rest)
- Inkblot Art Academy
- MakoMart
- Um'ami Ruins
- Manta Maria
- Barnacle & Dime
- Humpback Pump Track
- Crableg Capital (not Splat Zones, Zones layout plays out too different from the rest)
- Shipshape Cargo Co.
- Robo ROM-en
- You should feel like your team played well. If you're sharing a replay specifically because you want my advice you should be sending me a game you feel like you don't know what you could've done differently, but still like you struggled for at least some greater parts of the game.
- The game should feel even, like it could have gone either way, for the sake of me seeing how you play at an advantage and at a disadvantage. For YouTube specifically, bonus points if the game is super close and decided in its final push!
- Would prefer if it's not a Clam Blitz game from solo matchmaking because, to be perfectly blunt, I don't think most people know how to play Clam Blitz very well. You still can and if so I'd prefer if it's a reasonably high X Ranking but the way Clam Blitz plays in solo matchmaking isn't often all too similar to how the other modes play or really to how Clam Blitz is supposed to be played.
- Replay code
- Current ranking (Anarchy Rank, X-Power if you have one, and/or LUTI division if you're on a team with one)
- Any other notes you have for me.
