*Hypothetically speaking, these kind of features would have to be applied when seasonal events are no more*
Splatfest:
-This update would provide an option for a night time setting with every stage in the game. (splatfest night stages)
-This PB's update will also include a list of all prior Splatfest themes within the options menu of a Private Battles lobby. With this, lobby hosts can choose a Splatfest theme to go with selected night-time Splatfest stages. Selecting a theme provides most of the unique settings that Splatfests have, such as distinct weather effects, music, etc. (frosty fest will have snowflakes falling on the stage, idol leader fest will have unique post-match music tied to an idol, etc)
-With a chosen Splatfest theme, hosts can further assign players to a Splatfest idol in a PB lobby, which is a new way to assort teams. If teams are assorted by idols, then Splatfest T’s will be given to all players in-game matching the theme and idol.
-Having these options permits players to sort've take in the atmosphere of a prior Splatfest once more, or give players a chance to experience a Fest they may have missed out on within a PB's environment.
Tri-Color:
-With Splatfest related features added into PB's, the door of having a Tri Color team format setting within the options menu of a PB's lobby could potentially be opened. (2V2V4)
-With this possibility of a multi-team format setting, every Tri-Color Turf War canvas could be available to select in the stages menu so that players can play the original stage layouts in PB's. (just as how Shifty Stations from Splatoon 2's Splatfests were moved over into Splatoon 2’s Private Battles)
-Splatfest themes and idol-based team assorting will also be optional settings applicable to selected Tri Color stages as well.
Challenges:
-Challenge esq game types could be applied to Private Battles under the menu options. These would be specific settings applied when selecting existing modes and stages. (faster swim speed, increased jump height, etc)
