Title says it all. I just wanted to know how fast base swimming is compared to base running, and if the gear perks are multiplicative (200 * 25% swim speed = 250).

even with maxed out run speed, swimming will always be faster without ninja squid.

dont fully rely on this because it isn't 100% accurate eg. 1 main will always have a greater affect than 3 subs, there are no ability caps, etc.
True, but it is all we have atm.

If you like percents, the above means:

Base run: 100%
Max run: 150%

Base ninja squid: 180%
Base swim: 200%
Max swim: 250%
Max ninja swim: 225% (if cap can still be reached with 2 mains and lots of subs)

Does stacking work the same way with alternate movement buffs like Opening Gambit? Say, if I'm using mains of Comeback and a Run+ buff, will the movement be faster than mains of Run+ and Run+? Also, does the speed cap remain the same that way?

yea gambit/comeback stack with run+. gambit is like 1 main and 3 subs worth of boosts,it is only slightly slower than 2 mains. comeback is the same as 1 main of run+

If I used a bunch of Swim+ to reach the speed cap, would the alternate increases allow you to break the cap that we know exists with multiple Swim+ buffs alone?

its safe to say no- it will probably not break the cap. i am not able to test this.

but i wouldn't be surprised if comeback/gambit/effort are calculated independently.
