Overview:
I have been asked by SyCUP TOs to help make this tournament more public and known to our community. For those who don't know SyCUP 3 had a total of over 450 teams entered and is a renown Japanese Tournament series.

Required Skills:
  • Writing and reading skills both in English and Japanese, or at least the ability to read a tournament outline in Japanese
  • Must be able to participate in qualifier and bracket stage as a translator for the team
  • Proficient in Twitter, or other online tools required during the tournament
In hopes to make it easier on teams I am compiling a list of Japanese players who are willing to help and act as translators for English teams.

Dates&Times:
Registration Dates:

Registration Opens: 2/12 9:00pm (Tokyo) = 2/12 7:00am est
Registration Closes: 2/13 9:00pm (Tokyo) = 2/13 7:00am est

Tournament dates:
Qualifier/"Group Stages" -

or (When you Register your team picks one of the two days to play on)
2/27 (Tokyo) 8:00pm-12:00am = 2/27 6:00am est to 10:00am est
Bracket-

Oooh!
Now I have to find out if we've got a Japanese translator... this seems awesome! Pure Splat Zones? Sweet.

As it gets closer to the tournament let me know if you haven't found a translator and I'll see what I can do!

We're playing in that.

Anyone that is on the edge don't be afraid to jump in. As long as you have a translator Japanese tournaments are fun and well run. They also have teams of all skill level.
