I did not get a single 100x or 300x battle this splatfest even though I got 2 festival shells. This is now the second time this has happened to me.

Why is this happening? Don't I have the right to have another photo on one of the floats and tell my opponents to kiss my *** in the process?

Luck of the draw, friend. It's not always in your favor. I had a similar experience.
To be fair, at least it wasn't an important splatfest. Better than getting no 100x during Grand Fest.
