I've lived in 4 states now so I'll give a clue for each one!
The state of my birth is also known as "God's waiting room" by some folk.
The state I lived in after that has a reasonably well-known trail that goes across the whole state, I believe if you're hiking the Appalachian trail you'll also pass through!
The next state I lived in I genuinely can't think of a good clue so I'll give it for free and say it's where one of the founding fathers lived, his plantation's name starts with an M!
And the state I now call my home gets a lot of tourism, especially from Texas :) our state flower's name is more commonly known in the general populace with a tragedy, so out-of-staters can be caught off-guard when we mention it.
