The best (random) teammates you've had

I had two major teams during the last Splatfest that made me certain we were going to push Team Science to victory:

Both of these teams were great, but Born2Splat and EDPP|Avery were especially heroic across several matches - it's a shame I disconnected from you guys, we probably could have carried Science all the way.

All the really good teams I've been on really seem to be during Splatfest. I don't remember their names but these last two Splatfests have been great for me. I usually try and stick with the teams until I get disconnected or we lose a couple times.
Some other good teams I had were mostly during Rainmaker. Ink a path for the holder and just go! Shooting slows you down. It's good to find teammates that know what they're doing and cooperate.

I was playing Solo Queue ranked earlier and a guy named 'benjamin' was on my team. So far he's the only person I've met that actually knows what to do once you grab the Rainmaker. Playing against him was good too, it was nice finally playing against someone I was evenly matched with because of their skill and not their lag.

Once, in rainmaker, our team was about to lose. I usually dont carry the rainmakers because im too aggressive for it, but I did cause I was desperate and going to drop into b+ hell again if I lost. I grabbed it and my teammates surrounded me and basically escorted me to the goal. It was the sweetest win ever.

Also, in turf war I was practicing with the e liter 3k scope and became in sync with another e liter 3k on moray towers/blackbelly skatepark. We were literally picking people off one by one. When we were on opposing teams, we made it our goal to only target each other. It was great.

Generally I make new friends during splatfests. Fighting together with random people for several matches builds a surprising amount of camaraderie. Even when I have less good team mates, it's upsetting to see them leave. (or get disconnected)

During splatfest I had a team and we won like 20 games in a row before one got disconnected so the rest sort of left. I had an n zap, roxy had a bucket, pear was an amazing brush, and another guy who I can't remember the name of or what weapon he used, but we went undefeated and we just all clicked so well.

way back during the eat vs sleep splatfest, the matchmaking left me and a RG user left to fend on our own against a full team of eaters, I was using the jr, we were on bluefin depo, we manged to win by about 50-40 percent, best match of my splatoon life.

I'll just leave this here.

I thought we were doomed as the enemy team had managed to push the rainmaker to 3 with their superior speed, but we managed to wipe them at our podium. I grabbed the rainmaker and my partners for this duos match painted the fastest, most beautiful ink path straight to the enemy goalpost.

Sloth and Smalls, wherever you guys are you were awesome road makers. I hope you had many more successful squad matches in duos that night.

Shout out to Edgardito, TanukiSam, and Mike. I was only with them a few rounds, but we did work.

In this Splatfest I had a fantastic team. Josh, Tony, Sonic, and someone else who's name I forget, he left first and was replaced by Sonic who in turn put in some serious work.

Granted, we also faced a bunch of really low level players in certain games, but we were great against high level teams.

Edit: I remembered the other teammate. D. King Boo, he was great, and I saw him play with Pksparkxx on a Mario Kart 8 live stream.

During the Splatfest, I had one team mate who went by the name Miranda. We were on the same team for like an hour. Our team mates were constantly changing but we were always killing it. Even when our team wasn't doing the best during a match, we were still there to back each other up and help one another out. It really was awesome to see someone getting some team spirit like that during a Splatfest~

I met this best team this Splatfest consists of this:
Siaosilima, he scored the most kills with his mighty roller. Charging front and feared by all enemies.
Zachery, Nifty Inkbrush capable of killing and inking. One of the best inkbrush users I've ever seen. He is not afraid of any range weapon and can KO them with ease
Squidward, another roller that can track enemies that escape into our base with ease.
Me, Cynshop, the charger that sucked. Always in 3rd or 2nd place. Okay at making paths and occasionally killing some dudes.

They carried me all the way to Queen and up to 12+ flags
At first its me and Siaosilima and then Zachery joined. We stayed like that as teammates come and go.
Squidward came last and perfected our team. Thank you, team, you all rock!

Just won a match in ranked mode when I was on a team of 3 against a team of 4 from the very start. It was on Kelp Dome, Splat Zones mode. We won with 18 points left, and they 40. I went 18-9, and my teammates got 19 and 14 kills as well. All A rank players in the game, by the way... Epic.
I don't know if we just got lucky with good players on our team and poor ones on the other, or what, but us three DID NOT WANT TO LOSE!

This one time, there was this player in my lobby called "Gomme HD". Don't exactly know how it started, but we basically spent the next 15 matches constantly saying "Nice!" to each other, and it was awesome.

which splatfest was this i used to go by zachary and i use inkbrushes on splatfest
nvm it was planes vs cars I wasn't there for that one

I had this teammate in ranked named Omi (dual squelcher) who Booyah'd at the start of almost every round, and I figured, eh, why not, and Booyah'd with her. We usually wound up with the whole team rallying in a chorus of Booyah. I don't know if she was just that good, if it was coincidence, or if the morale support actually had an effect on our teamwork, but we won almost every match we were on the same team.

 

[STELLAR-V™]

I was once in a match with a master Gold Dynamo user. The player was Japanese, and not once did he get splatted. Most dynamos I see get splatted frequently, but he didn't. He was a beast on the field, and he was a nightmare to be pitted against on the roster.

He gained senpai status instantaneously.

I had a game yesterday where I superjumped to a teammate. It looked safe on the map but my teammate obviously knew it wasn't and left a suction bomb on my landing location. As I was landing I saw an enemy player backing off :)

Once while playing turf war I happened upon one of those squid parties where nobody was taking the game seriously. I was pretty stressed out beforehand so that pretty much melted all my frustration, and then one of them friended me after the maps changed.

To this day, whenever I join her in a game she's always trying to start a squid party lol
