I don't keep any pasta water, but I do add butter and garlic salt to my hot pasta IMMEDIATELY.

Tastes good enough by itself. :V

I don't generally keep the pasta water either, but I do boil my pasta in salted water. Removes the need to add more afterward =p

Something I must recommend. I had the idea the other day to make a s'more with marshmallow creme and hot fudge instead of the classic toasted marshmallow and chocolate bar. Let me tell you it was so delicious. Highly recommend.
