I'm also not sure how to start LAN mode. Since the Shoal is the place to start a game like that. I'm also Curious on what the rewards are. I only have one friend that has a Switch and Splatoon2 locally...
Gonna have to wait for AN next year.
Or hope there is a local meet up.
