I play v duelies and I really struggle with fighting brellas in general, but tents are a whole other beast for me. Right now I just rush them down before they have their shield up, and when they do put it up I back off.

is there a better way to fight against them?

I'd say it's best to try to avoid fighting the tent alone, since the dualie v brella match-up is always a loss for dualies. Only take fights with the tent when they don't have their shield up or if a teammate shredded their shield since it'll be safer for you to rush them down

i think the main problem here is the brella class as a whole has a really good matchup against most dualies. you're probably better off avoiding them and letting a teammate deal with it but if you absolutely must respond to it, your best bet is double teaming or catch them whenever their shield isnt active

Yeah as a tent main just don't engage the tent in the open when their shield's up as that's basically a guaranteed loss if they know what they're doing.

I'll add that you can totally play around annoying blocks of cover or tiny ledges in squid form if you're fighting it with its shield. It can't hit you easily without stepping out of its shield and if it stays inside, just wait until it despawns or throw a bomb behind it.

Hope this helps! Or maybe I don't actually 😈
