I realized during the Past vs. Future splatfest that it only takes a few matches before I know whether my team is going to win or lose since each Splatfest follows the same pattern. The more popular team gets slaughtered. I think I'm going to start watching live streams at the start of splatfest, get a feel for who is going to win and then pick a team.
Some will probably consider that not in the spirit of Splatfest, but 6 sea snails is the equvilent to 180,000 coins. In order to get that much from Ranked you would have to get 33 to 45 wins at S rank or play 120 to 240 games of Turf War (assuming an average of between 750 and 1500 points per game).
I say keep your Splatfest team in your heart and your snails in your pocket.
