Voice Chat for Friends Only?

I was hoping that Nintendo could announce voice chat for friends only. This should happen on the August update when you will be able to play friend only matches of turf war. Share your opinions about this too down in the comments!

I second this, it would be a great addition for the game. We shouldn't have to use Skype or another third party chat program in order to talk to our friends. It would be great if Nintendo would just make voice chat a new feature to the Wii U as a whole.

It's not impossible for this to actually happen. If the community appears to be wholesome in Nintendo's eyes and we continually ask for it, it may actually happen around the August update.
