What control style is better suited for competitive play?

I've been wondering a lot about this and I can't get to the conclusion of which one is better, the motion controls of normal ones

In the end it really comes down to preference, but most would say that motion controls are overall better then stick controls.

But you prefer using stick controls over motion then go ahead and use stick controls. :p

Motion controls. Could take a while to get used to it but it's clearly better with them. You can jump, shoot and aim at the same time with and it's overall more accurate. Most gamers don't like analog controls and say that mouse is the best. The motion controls are the closest to that in terms of accuracy and they'll feel very good once you get used to it. Playing with motion controls is a must to be honest

While the majority use motion controls, there are several great players that use sticks.

Whatever you like in the end. Motion controls gives more precise control but is subject to human view bobbing like you see in typical FPS games where you view bobs. Dual sticks isn't subject to this but has it's own limits in how precise you can be.
