What do the weapons in splatoon remind you of in real life?

There are many weapons to choose from. Many of which have very interesting and cool looks. Some weapons look obvious as to what they were designed around. For example the splattershot resembles a super soaker while the L-3 nozzlenose resembles what appears to be a garden hose wrapped around a gun that has the shape of a watering wand head where the ink comes out at. I was just curious what everyone thought the other weapons were based off of if possible.
