Not really IMO. Splashwalls.

With the regular you still have the Splat Bombs you can lob to the other side, and with the Custom you get the Killer Wail (which also does wonders against Krakens). I'm not saying which is better, I'm just saying that the Dual Squelchers are a pretty decent choice as well

I've always used the .96 Gal Deco, although the .52 Gal normal is also pretty good. If you're going to use a charger, use the kelp splat charger, and the best roller is carbon deco.

Heavy Splatling Deco is a great map control/defensive weapon for Rainmaker I've found, plus it has a cheesy Kraken.

96 Dal Deco is a good weapon since the SW will block the rainmaker shield, Kraken is good for creating paths and 96 Gal Deco is quite easy to splat with
