I think that the clash blaster is best for tower control,
The best weapon for rainmaker is the splatershot pro
The best weapon for turf war is the aerosprays, the sploosh o matics or the splash o matics
The best weapon for splat zones is the aerospray MG
The best weapon for clam blitz is splatershot pro

In my opinion, the best weapon for turf war is any of the JRs (my personal favourite is the custom)

There’s no single best weapon for any mode, it’s 4v4 for a reason. You could use only the best weapons in your opinion and still lose without a balanced team.
