Back when I would put time into X Rank, I could get 2300 in both the NA and JP servers.
Hardly ever touch it now, because almost every time I boot the game up the rotations are just garbage and don't want to play them.

The highest I've ever got in S2 at 2386, from playing 6 rotations after hitting 2300, with little to no losses, until the game paired me with a CDS that got one kill between two games... lost around 140 XP from that.
Think the highest I've gotten in S3 was like 2354 or something, but didn't put that much time into it.

My polite Asian friend in choir who I barely talk to is 2000 X Power in Tarroka.
I stopped assuming ranks a while ago.

when I got S+0 last season my average X rank score was like, 1500-1600, so pretty average

Everyone has bad X power. Myself included.
In Splatoon 2, you needed to get to S+10 to unlock X battles, at the time X rank. The minimum your power could go before you de-ranked back to S+9 was something like 1800. These days they practically let anyone in to compensate for the garbage de-ranking system.
