When do splatoon joycons come out?

Unfortunately, there is currently no indication that the Joy-Cons will be released separately from the console. : ( I know some special edition Joy-Cons have released separately from other consoles, maybe there's a pattern with those that could suggest the likelihood of Splatoon 3 Joy-Cons being sold separate?

i doubt they would be released separately but i thought i could grab them off ebay
