Though I'll be playing a ton of it at my friend's apartment. (He has a wii u, and we're planning on streaming the game when it's released)

I'm getting the game, but not sure if I will be picking it up when on the release date or on June 1 when my amiibo ship in. Also haven't decided if I'm getting the digital or physical copy of the game. I have an external HDD for my Wii U so I'm not worried about running out of space.

Do I want a disc that I have to put in all the time or have a digital copy that I can just boot up anytime? Decisions, decisions...

I agree, I will probably pick up the amiibo when they ship (June 1 for me) and just get the game digitally at launch. Seems like the best option.

I actually just reserved one today. Sold some crap and got enough money to buy Shadow of Mordor, reservation for Splatoon, and enough left over for the Splatoon amiibo pack.

Definitely release day. It's always super fun to be part of the beginning of a new meta game and discovering all of the advanced tech with everybody. :D
