will octolings have there own game

The possibility is definately there, however it will not be for another two games at least because for right now splatoon's biggest concern is to cement itself as the next big nintendo ip so it will definately be focusing on its main game with the main characters that it has, plus it's way to early in any franchis's life for the option of spinoff games

Nope. Possibly they're playable as future DLC or in Spla2n, but not in they're own game.
