Hello!

My birthday is coming up at the end of November, so to celebrate here's a gimmick tournament!

The tournament will be held on November 30th at 2pm EST.

The format will be round robin, each match will be a bo3. If we have 8 or more teams participating, there will be a single elimination bracket after the round robin. The finals of the elimination bracket will be a bo5.

Splattercolour Screen is only allowed if both teams consent to it.

You do not need a Squidboards account to join this tournament. If there's someone on your team that isn't on Squidboards, that's ok!

This tournament will also have the following gimmick rules:
1. All team compositions must have at least 2 Splatlings.
2. All Chargers are banned.

The format shows 2v2 because the minimum team size is 2 so that I can later add people to incomplete teams. This is a 4v4 tournament still.

okay! so!

genesis wave was wanting to play in this, but we didn't realize until today that only half of us are gonna be available. oops. and i'm gonna be at work for the first hour. @Masked_Katz and i still want to put together a pickup for this, though, so... putting out feelers for that. we'll need at least three more players (because of me having to come in late and all). i'm dualie guy but i've been dabbling in wiper and decav; katz is junior guy but he flexes to other short/mid-range shooters and blasters, mostly. (and one or both of us might end up as one of the designated splatling players, anyway)

so unfortunately @Masked_Katz has died suddenly in a falling piano incident. the cartoons make it seem much less gruesome than it really is! so sad

anyway, now it's just me looking to find a team to jump on. i'm working until an hour into the tournament, but once i'm out of work and i get home i can play. (my commute is short, count me in by like, 1 hour 20 minutes in at the latest). does any existing team want to adopt one sad wet dualie cat

I don't remember exactly who it was with but we played quad hydra in open (at like 2 am) and it was way too fun
