Octobrush: The Patient Predator

Octobrush: The Patient Predator

This guide gave me more inspiration to keep playing octobrush. I like the fact that there was a philosophy section to this guide.
An excellent guide on all fronts, you've given me a newfound motivation to practice with the Octobrush. Thanks a lot!

Thanks, that is how I am feeling right now too, I went to splatlings, which I did get to S+ with, but now I am interested in picking up the ol' brush again. I finally got a capture card, so I am intending on updating this guide soon! Especially in this gal heavy meta, some new tips can be incorporated.
Very good guide indeed. I can't stress using walls to your advantage enough. Not only are they great for getting surprise kills, but they're also excellent for tricking the enemy just into giving you just enough space to avoid getting splatted, yourself. Personally I don't Feel Ink Resistance up is the end-all-be-all for your set. I actually enjoy using Stealth Jump. As you said earlier, Super-jumping to your allies to throw off your enemies is a great tactic. I often find myself using that tactic, but I've found that since enemies can see where you'll land, sometimes they're waiting for you at your landing spot. With stealth jump, you can often completely catch an enemy off guard by super-jumping in near them when they least expect it, like when they've splatted the teammate you were jumping to. This is a bit more of a risky alternative to Ink-Resistance Up, but I find it very useful Every once in a while
Quoting the book of five rings. Sir you have earned me respect. Also good guide. But I disagree with the jumping partition, short hop on shark is the best.
