    I'm gonna be honest, I want to like Salmon Run. I really do. It's just that the format of it gets old really quickly. If it had more variety that would be nice. Like, I know that the special waves exist, but like, it still doesn't seem like enough.

    Personally I don't agree for a single reason: altough 7 was a great game which brought many significant innovations (in particular I loved and still love the point to point tracks) it lacked the customization we had in MKWii and MKDS and which returned in MK8 and MK8DX. Sometimes I'd like to have a custom race or battle and in MK7 that was impossible.

    Battle Mode was terrible for MK8, but was corrected for MK8DX, we even got a crossover battle track! I actually like MK8DX because it has a bit of Nintendo-exclusive crossover.

    mario kart wii does for a fact still have online play.
