It might be for passive players who don't kill and purely go through a match only covering turf. You'd mostly be running into the enemy spawn location over and over and be a distraction forcing the opposition to focus on their own turf instead of the middle contested location to allow your team...
Old specials felt powerful. These new ones occasionally feel like they hurt you more than they help you if you don't properly set them up for maximum effectiveness. I think this is due to their design philosophy being that every special must have a counter this time around. You can pretty much...
I was being inclusive to most modes except maybe Tower Control. In splat zone, you can literally control a zone at a distance from behind cover with Splatlings. For the other modes, Hydra has enough range to control mid from behind walls close to your base (not at the spawn point). That can be...
Yes but what I'm trying to say is that due to chargers it can't be defensive either. You instead have to be passive-aggressive in order to get the most out of what it can do. You won't need to "get out of there" since the goal is to cause havoc where no one can touch you (over walls, or from...
If you're close enough to splat bomb an Eliter then they'll probably just burst bomb you to death. Kelp & Splat Charger still wins without fully charging up close too and out ranges with scope. As far as Bubbler is concerned, you need a decently ranged weapon to use it effectively in most...
The main weakness of this weapon is simply the popularity of chargers. This weapon becomes nearly useless just at the present of an enemy charger due to being outranged by any e-liter and scope. Even in range, they can win up close just because their charge time is way shorter and splats in one...
Unskilled E-liters already weeded themselves out by being unable to get kills and being a burden on the team. This just makes it nearly impossible for the actual good elite snipers to kill you up close if they didn't already see you before you're in range to hit them.
If popularity wasn't a factor then based on the current trends, the less popular team would always win. I think a x4 modifier is way more than enough, marshmallows was simply more loved than hotdogs by a huge margin.
In other news... my splatfest record is now: 2 W / 1 L
