So my favorite weapon changes constantly. I guess I get bored and want to try something new...
I'll probably use the Dual Squelcher for the next Splatfest
I'd rather they swim.
People jump to the middle of the action way too much, they can be spotted after the match with "4/12" next to their name. How on earth could you die 12 times? There is only 1 way - quick jumping over and over.
If someone is 2/3 of the way forward or so I'll jump to them...
I thought it was dumb, but then I realized I'm the one that's dumb. Wall climbing unlocks the best in this map.
It seems too big for 4v4 but otherwise a good map.
It's hard to categorize, hard to explain to those who haven't played it. Nonetheless I'm not really concerned by these issues :)
It's easy to pick up, and difficult to master. That's the mark of most great games.
I have gone through phases where I felt that almost every gun is OP. You just have to adapt and learn, most of the time your initial impression is wrong. I'm on my 6th main weapon now, I just keep trying to counter my problem opponents. That makes for a great game and great experience. Just when...
I think the way to nerf Specials is to force the player to use them within 6 or 8 (or whatever) seconds of full charge. People just walk around and wait for a skirmish, then pop the special after you hit them a couple times. That' what's annoying. I can handle Bubblers and Krakens all day, but...
I generally like the simpler maps. The Warehouse, the Port, the Skatepark.
Moray Towers, Bluefin Depot... well if these are in ranked, I'll play turf. If they're in turf, I'll play ranked.
Imagine warfare if a person could fling things as far as a gun can shoot things.
The inklings inherited the Earth, yes, but their scientists are idiots.
It's noob friendly, so I think it's good that Inkstrike is common. Ok... 10 weapons might be overkill though :)
What I don't want to see is more Bubblers though. Don't get me started!
Of course it's useful. You throw your bomb and follow up with main weapon. I've tried with and without many times, and am driven crazy when I'm without ink saver sub. If you use bombs a lot, I consider the saver to be essential.
I have seen a bit of this lately too. It's aggravating to see the rollers on your team going 2/8 while constantly teleporting to the center and getting splatted (the incompetent agro strategy). Again. Meanwhile me and my Squelcher are stuck inefficiently inking the backfield because nobody else...
