I'm actually working on emulating the official "look" of Inklings, like using the proportions Nintendo uses instead of my own styles. I'll hopefully be posting the results later today.
I have a number of guides, and had even started memorizing quite a few of them, but for some reason whenever I pick it back up again, my life gets really busy, haha. ;; One of these days.

I don't care what even happened during the rest of the match once that's happened, lmao. It hasn't happened that often, since I consider myself average at best, but that's what makes it all the more special for me.
The Hydra is a bit tougher to handle for me as well, but I also haven't put as much time into it as I did with the Heavy. Anyone who can use that thing well is probably capable of some really scary stuff.
I think people underestimate Splatlings quite a bit. I used it for a good while on my first account and that thing can be monstrous in Turf Wars, especially depending on the map. On multiple occasions, on the Splatfest after the Heavy Splatling came out. I cornered the opposing team at their...
On the subject of Japanese players, due to the hours I played, I found myself playing with them a lot. Not to mention their overwhelming numbers made them my teammates more often than not. They get very into it! I had quite a bit of fun. I know "Booyah!" isn't what they see on their own screen...
I already pre-ordered both the Sisters and the alternate costumes. Haha... ;;
The boy looks like one of my customized squid kids, and so does the girl. Since Tentacle colors can change, I'm not going to be getting too hung up on those.

I don't think it's weird at all. People like coming together in support of things they're fans of, and this counts things like Vocaloids and the Squid Sisters. People aren't exactly alien to gathering in large groups in support of fictional things. People can get really attached to fiction...
I'm not used to the Inkzooka's slight delay in activation, even though my main Special is Inkstrike, so I've gotten splatted immediately after activating it without getting to fire it.
