I'm considering getting Shovel Knight, it looks like a pretty sweet game with a nostalgic feel. I'm uncertain if it's just something that has been over-hyped, or if it's any good, and I was hoping you wonderful squids could tell me?
Also wondering if I should get it on my WiiU or 3DS, if...
Wow thank you, some really detailed information. I was wondering, some people told me to stay clear of the PC version of the games... are they that bad? Or have the PC versions just had one or two bad experiences and that's blown up on the net?
Not familiar with that interview, but that's quite interesting. There's so much potential in the Splatoon franchise and I really hope it just sky rockets from here on out.
Thank you. I am leaning toward starting with 7 based on the hype surrounding it. Looking forward to it, I hope I can get into it. Just need to find a spare 50 hours of my life to play it :p
Oh of course, I don't expect anything right now or within the next couple of years. Just thought I'd throw around a bit of speculation and see what ideas people had in general.
It looks like Nintendo are throwing a few spin-offs out there for a few different games at the moment, such as Metroid Prime: Federation Force, Animal Crossing: Happy Home Design/Amiibo Festival and of course, Legend of Zelda with Hyrule Warriors.
What are your thoughts on a Splatoon spin-off...
Hey guys, been a while since I've been active around here but I could really use your help!
I'm a bit tempted to try one of the older FF games on PC. I note that GAME sell the downloads for around a tenner, which is a good price for a game I just want to try out. However, I'm not sure where to...
Yeah can't blame GAME, really is a terrible thing to happen though. Luckily other stockists (including Nintendo UK) still have the bundle in by the looks.
Some excellent games there. I'd also like to play the GCN Fire Emblem. It's so rare and sells for like over £100 on eBay, I just can't justify it. Unfortunately, so many GCN games get so rare and just go for ridiculous prices on sites like eBay... would love a GCN VC just for that purpose.
I've seen this posted in a relatively popular Splatoon UK group (so many of you may have already seen this) but I wanted to spread the word as far as possible to make sure people noticed before Friday!
It seems the truck from GAME carrying the Splatoon bundles (Squid + 2 Inklings) was stolen...
Yeah good point about B-K, it's a shame. I'd be interested in Kirby: Canvas Curse. I never used to touch games like Kirby or Donkey Kong for some reason... Now I find myself looking for every version of every game trying to find and complete them.
Yes I would like to try out some Warriors...
It's slow. It's painful. Work makes the days go slightly quicker, but not much. Got tomorrow off so I'm going to use the time to prepare my Pokemon VGC team (competition is this weekend) as well as play through some of my backlog and catch up on some TV shows.
I sound like I have it together...
