If we're talking specials they aren't on other splatlings yet I think naut could pair well with chumps, like it's got decent mobility and you could use chumps to clear some space and than swim in with a stored charge and pop out to pick off some distracted enemies
but pls pls pls buff chumps first
Zimi
I always loved splatlings for the balance between charger support and shooter aggro and then zimi got the perfect kit I wanted in og game
I didn't play much of it in S2 because I didn't like the kit (mostly switched to chydra and heavy deco) but was super happy that it got a kit I like...
S1 gets a lot of problems with hacks/cheating these days from what I hear. There are still lots of holes in the Wii U security but obviously at this point Nintendo isn't as concerned with those as they would have been before the Switched released. So you'll likely find matches OK, but don't be...
I really like the way they are making the specials more versatile while also making them riskier to use. Doesn't seem like anything is OP to me, personally. Everything will take time to learn, obviously, but I think the net gain will be very positive.
I'm going to try using the splash-o-matic with a bomb and speed based build. Sub power up to increase the range on the toxic mist and then swim speed up to rush in for kills. maybe a little run speed for good measure and special power up depending on how it effects inkjet.
oh, and the landing...
Going to start with Splash-o-matic. I loved the splash in S1 but wasn't really a fan of the loadout(s). Happy to see it get Toxix Mist because it's similar to disruptor which was always my favourite sub and I was always disappointed Splash never got a set with it.
I mean, you can pirate most console games eventually as well. And anything that requires online servers (I.E Splatoon) won't be playable when those servers get shut down, regardless of whether or not the game is downloadable anyway.
^ Yeah, the best thing to do is find the balance that works for you. I primarily use stick more major camera movements and camera control during terrain traversal, but use motion for controlling he camera when I'm stationary or for fine aiming.
I personally don't see many more cons with digital than I do with physical in that sense though. Physical media still relies on the hardware to play, and that might not always be easy to find if the hardware you have fails. Physical media is also more prone to failure such as disc scratching...
I'm going all digital on the Switch like I did with Wii U outside of some collectors editions etc. The Wii U wasn't even a portable console and I took it with me all over the place so having all the games right there was amazing. The Switch being build for portability just makes it that much...
